SO... I have been working on upgrading the engine using a lot of the bolt on budget mods and have experiences a nice increase in power. Problem is there still isn't all that much low end torque to get the car moving.

I want to try something that will do this without nos, turbo, or SC yet.

I have begun to investigate the possibility of headwork, probably going to a ported and polished head and then increasing the valve sizes by 1mm diameter.

What other possibilities can you think of?

Intake
HF Cat
UDP
Coil/wires
Copper plugs
Predator Tune
Ported Throttle Body

Near future:
Jethot coated header and cat exterior
Headwork

i've heard that a cat-back exhaust will bring the torque up a bit. but a p&p is good, too

VF Engineering Mounts. Get all three, that will help your engine from knocking around when you shift. It will help stablize your engine.

Anything LARGER will hurt TQ , Like porting here , custom intake , If you want TQ and mid range but dont care about high mid range and upper end then go smaller , smaller TB , screen under TB things like this will make low end TQ but hurt the top end

You had a predator tune didnt you , thought you sold it ?

I still have the Predator Tune. Also have a XCAL2 kicking around, not tuned yet.

Basically I think the car has enough HP for the moment, but could definitely use some work in the Torque department.

Yeh for the drags I think I will look into a set of 15's and then smaller diameter tires.

I decided on an action plan for the next year or so....

Fall 2006 - Headwork
Spring 2007 - Bottom end work (pistons/crank/conrods)
Summer 2007 - Quaife LSD, Flywheel, Clutch
Fall 2007 - Start collecting FI accessories
Spring 2008 - FI (custom supercharger setup I think)

15's won't fit over the brakes if I remember, I think 16 is the lowest you can go.

New info suggests and I believe has been proven that Team Dynamic Pro Race 1's will fit w/o spacers. Also OZ Ultraleggera?

I am sure of the PR1's the OZ's are new knowledge to me.

I have 6- 15" winter tires and the guy at the garage confirm this.
