Right after signing the paperwork to purchase my SVT I got in and the check engine light came on. Hooked it up to an OBD scanner and got the P1518 code for the imrc and the P1000 code saying the catalyst and EVAP were not ready. Did they try and hide the IRMC from me? Also how hard is doing IRMC yourself? Thank you!

If the check engine light was not on during your test drive then they probably weren't hiding anything. You just had bad luck. IMRC is located behind the driver's headlight inside the fender. 3 bolts hold it on. Cable feeds through a hole underneath the battery. Pretty simple clip on the intake. Plenty of write ups on the forum. Pricey though at around $300. Disconnect your battery before doing any work. Allow to idle for 5 minutes after first start up to allow the computer to relearn. If you are a non mechanic then the SVT is not for you.
