My Good Ol' Nikon D80

But I am thinking about jumping into the Nikon D300 / D700 ... the D90 just doesn't have much of a change from my D80.

I have a 55-80 lens and a 70 - 300 lens.

d80! nice. im thinking about getting the d80 or 40d or 50d. my major decision is should i go nikon or canon. i honestly think i might go with canon.

Yeah .... I just don't care for the video ... I would rather by a point and shoot for that point. No need for an SLR to shoot video in my eyes. Takes away from the real purpose of the camera. ...

But I do use a D90 and D700 at the job ... and well the video on the D90 ... SUX ... I said it ... the point and shoot cameras do it so much better. ... If I wanted quality video ... I would have brought the office Sony EX3 ... (Look it up) More than Awesome Camera.

BUT AS FOR THE D700 ... ITS A TRUE FULL FRAME DSLR ... Takes so much better photos. Almost no Grain in the highest ISO (6400 If memory serves me right), Great Shutter speed, and Large Chip. Can also use the Film camera lenses to their real focal lengths. Great camera ... but yes it is in the 3 - 4 K range. I have an account at B&H ... so I can put that down on credit if I wanted. ;p

dude if that gt-r continues to drag like that hes going to drop his trans. i believe after 100 launches the trans starts crapping out.

id bet after the show he has to go to nissan and get a warranty check and pay for them to look at the trans to get some info and send it out to japan so they can take a look at it. i think after ten launches like drag racing, you HAVE to take it to nissan, if not it voids warranty or something like that.

and ive seen video of the video feature on the d90, its pretty good in some cases. the video is good for slow motion such as if the camera were still and some little action is in front, but if the camera were to move, it stats getting crappy. and the fact that you have to focus the image yourself, is gay.

im thinking about just getting the 40d, but i can get the 40d w/ lens or d90 body for the same price.

No way can you get the D90 the same price as the D40 with a lens ... Fishy to me.

D40 lens package ... $450 - 500
D90 - 900 - 1000 Alone.

I know you get discounts at BB but that seems quite a bit off.

Hit Craigslist. ... they usually have people giving those away.

What was the GT-R running that day? Where was all the focuses at?

I don't remember what the GT-R ran ... but I can find out.

There were 6 members at the event, but only 2 actually showed foci's. The peeps: Dean, Jeremy, Chris, Gabe, Ryan, and myself. There was also a focus dude from San Antonio. Chuck ... fell off the wagon and stayed home. Sorry Chuck ... I am going to pick on you a bit.
