I have recently converted tO a 5 speed and the mil light Is on (expected) but I checked the computer to make sure it was only the tranny and I got a high signal on the iat sensor. I have a steed short ram and flex pipe back exhaust and I just ported the throttle bod last week. My question is am I maxing the mass air out or do I have a bad sensor? I know I need a tune but can't afford it tell tax time.

Do you recall the exact P code?
The intake air temperature sensor is integrated into the MAF but porting the tb shouldn't affect it.

If it's the code below, you likely have a open or short in the MAF harness/connector.

P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Circuit High Input
Indicates the sensor signal is greater than Self-Test maximum. The IAT sensor maximum is 4.6 volts or -50°C (-58°F).
Open circuit in harness
Sensor signal short to power
Damaged sensor
Improper harness connection
Damaged PCM
IAT V PID reading greater than 4.6 volts with key ON and engine OFF or during any engine operating mode indicates a hard fault.
