Ok guys!!

I had alot of fun with my 240HP ZX3,, now i want to reach 300HP to the wheels.

What do i need to do next? Here's a list of the things my car has.

1.) Full Turbo Kit from Tom - www.focus-power.com
2.) 2.5 AEM Stainless Steel Cat-Back
3.) 2.5" Flex Pipe Stainless Steel
4.) Focus Sport Cam Gears
5.) Diablo Sport Chip Tune by Tom - Focus-Power.com
6.) MSD Coil Pack with 9MM Ford Racing Spark Plug
7.) Stock Clucth
8.) Stock Flywheel
9.) Stock Motor - No internal Mods Yet


Things i need to change or Add.

1.) Change Stock Clutch & Fly with Clutch Master Stage 4 & Aluminum Flywheel (fidenza)
2.) LSD (Quaife)
3.) Pistons ?Which one?
4.) Rods ?Which one?
5.) 3" Exhaust
6.) Cams ? Which one?

What else i need to do to be able to reach 300HP to the wheel and keep the car a daily driver?

P.S.
Don't want nitro i know i could reach it with it,, i just want plain turbo, plus i can't use nitro with AutoX.

i would say pistons, rods, bearings, and more boost. Prolly need little things like MAF and injectors too (depending what u have now). Bigger exhaust might help also.

A LSD would make life a hell of a lot easier with 300whp

+ u may also try spraying some nitrous [:D]
i would definetly go for an LSD also..

change yyour pistons and rods or go and get a venom nitrous kit and run it through your cold air

Ok i added couple thing on the add list.. My Turbo kit Tom told me that is good for 320HP... so i guess i don't need to change the maf...

Either P&P your head or do a FRPP head.... or you could just buy my SVT...... NOT

So change head to FRPP if i do that should i do the pistons too.. or just the head??

about the stroker,, that's why i want to find out ideas on what i need to do to get the 300hp..then i could compare if stroker is the way to go..

Oh just realize, should i change the Exhaust to 3" or the 2.5" will do??

just add about 10 APC stickers, that should get you over 300whp [:D]

that always helps.. put them on your tranny and youll get LSD too

are you running stock cams, if so you may want to look into some turbo grinds from mcnews to go with the p&p head.

scrap the 2.5 exhaust and get 3.0, that will help a little.

Here's the future parts list looks like.

Do i have to change the block to a WRC or can i keep the same stock block?

You might also want to look into a new cylinder head that should help a lot. You could also get an intake manifold like the Frod Racing one or have one custom made like Eurozx3 did.

Pretty much mandatory.....That, a clutch and forged rods&pistons.....

i think pistons, rods, retainers p&p and more boost and your there..of course the other things are nice too

on a side note: how hard are you on your car? its pretty amazing that you have been running close to 250whp for quite some time now and have had no engine problems, there have been people on this forum that have thrown rods after 200whp

I'm hard on the car only when i go AutoX,, daily driving time to time i will full boost for no more than a minute, just the normal light to light type of racing.

My tuning was done by Tom - www.focus-power.com and i have his Full Turbo Kit + I have a J and S safeguard and when i see the safeguard monitor light up like a christmas tree,, my feet comes off that gas pedal even if i'm racing someone. It's my daily driver and i can't afford to brake the motor. I do change the oil at 3,000 miles and no more that 3,200 if i can't do it right at 3k.. I use synthetic Mobil One.
