Allright, well I have looked and looked and cant get a straight answer. Does anyone know of a CD Changer that will hook up to my Pioneer DEH-P8600MP headunit. But heres the catch. Since that headunit plays MP3 cds, I need a cd changer that can read MP3 cds, right? I cant find one, please help!

I don't know if I am answering your question right but......
No you don't necessarily need a CD changer that reads MP3 since your HU does, It will still be compatible with your HU. I just bought the Pioneer Premier CDX-P686 and I love it. As always it has the direct connect IP-BUS cable. This changer is compatible with your HU.

oh yeah any of the "universal" changers will work but through FM-modulator which means you listen it through a FM frequency, And You operate it with a tacky remote that is wired to the unit. LOOKY

It will just be easier to buy one of the direct connect units that I posted above. You will be able to control it through your HU.

Hope I helped

unless a CD changer connects via an optical cable, it would need to be able to read MP3s
contact a Pioneer dealer or Pioneer direct. maybe they do play MP3s and they missed it in the description.?.

don't do the universal FM transmitter route!

for the money, you could get an iPod and connect via Aux input
no CDs needed for your MP3 or AAC files
