I've been looking all over the internet for a short ram intake for my 08 Ford Focus. I'm looking for something lower than 150 dollars but I can't find one anywhere! I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place or I'm just plain dumb. If anyone knows of any cheap short ram intakes, please let me know where to find them! [twothumbs]

^^^^ best answer IMHO.

Stock is an improvement over cheap.

Have you considered any of the "Stealth" options using a new filter & existing tubing?

I have considered, but I really want the sound aspect too! I'm thinking I'm just gonna have to splurge and get a semi-expensive one.

"Sound" comes only from using an open filter, not the tube it's attached to.

Buying a full setup is the easiest route, and better looking.

That could be a decent one for your location (FL).

It's an SRI with some of the CAI advantages (hookup to air intake for cooler than engine compartment air).

No worries about deep puddles with that type.
