Well I guess I'm a real Fanatic. Bought a 02 ZX3 today. Its taking autocross and track duty away from my Kona. I'll post some pics up tomorrow. It needs cleaned up bad. Atleast its not an autotagic like the Kona. Lol

It's not bad, he can drive it pretty good not a pro yet but he picked it up pretty fast.

He will most likely miss a few gears and cause some grinding or stalling lol. My Dad always taught us how to drive a manual transmission first before we could get an automatic. The way he started us to get a feel for the clutch pedal was that he would put us on a small incline(just enough to get the car rolling) and we couldn't use the gas pedal. He would tell us to feather out the clutch pedal enough to stop the car from rolling, then we would have to feather it out even more to get it to pull in idle speed. It's a tough trick to learn when you first start using but after a few times practicing you get a major feel for the clutch. Now teaching us how to shift the gears was another horror story lol. Can you say venturing out onto 275 and him saying "Here, you're driving us home now" lol. Thankfully he never did it during rush hour and it was near the exit for 52.

I have always owned manuals, My first car (88 Mustang) was a stick, then my 96 Mustang was, and pretty much all the cars I had in between until now. Once I sold the Mazda, its the first time in my life that I haven't had a manual.
