I don't understand this... what is with all the hate on the forums lately? The car looks fine; the only reason some parts don't fit right is because it's missing the fender and quarter flares. At least it's faster than an actual Saleen (without the nitrous, of course).

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think they went overboard on it. I think 05 and up swaps look good on some cars. And it's original.

if you want to put a body kit on a focus, buy a zx3... i would never do anything to my cars appearance to make it look like anything other than an SVT...

its not that bad. its just a bad rendition of a Saleen widebody. bad choice there. the Saleen kit never looked good to begin with. its kewl though he went with a 05-07 swap! props for that. im wanting to do the same thing, only with an SAP bumper.

...the Saleen kit never looked good to begin with...

The main reasons is looked goofy were the suspension wasn't low enough and the wheels weren't made wider to fit the arches, mostly because the fender lip was still there and would rub on any wider wheels. There was a slammed Saleen at a dealership by me recently, and it looked even more ridiculous with the stock wheels. They must've been 3-4 inches inside the arches. [hah]

Do you guys not see the body gaps? They are all weird and unsymetrical, the dude could have atleast make the gaps the same, take a look at how the hood fits with the top of the grill for example.

It's just the fact that it's an SVT FOCUS that somebody wanted to try to make into a SALEEN FOCUS for...what reason? I mean...I completely understand wanting to make a regular ZX3, ZX5 or sedan look like either a Saleen or an SVTF, because those cars are "upgraded," but if you already have one of those 2...why??? It seems like a sideways wannabe...a lateral shift if you will. Focus identity crisis. Transgendered Focus. You get the idea.

I'm not trying to hate, honestly I'm not...that's just my earnest opinion. I really think it was a bad move to try to make an SVTF look like a Saleen. And I think it was poorly executed in this case as well.

I know a guy w/ a zx3 with an RS widebody on it and it looks great.....again zx3. Not svt. I am to the point, however that putting a Saleen kit on anything other than a Saleen is like putting a GT-R emblem on a Sentra gxe.

Admittedly though, I'd happily trade this person for My current pile. At least it has some balls...

Here's the point I'm trying to make:

Saleen Focus: looks fast but isn't, unless you hook up the nitrous that voids your warranty.

SVT Focus: IS fast but doesn't really look it.
