Contour lenses appear to be made out of a different type of plastic.

Don't need to use a high temp paint. I suggest using either a gloss or semi-gloss paint to have a more "finished" look. I've seen people use BBQ paint it doesn't turn out well at all. I can assure you that standard paint won't peel bubble or fade.

I didn't notice any change in teh light pattern at all. The chorme that you paint really is only there for looks.

yeah, you can paint an 02's lights, but i think the process is slightly different, do a search for it

i'm considering doing this cause it would flow with the all black look i'm going for. but i think i'll wait till i can find some junk yard spares or something. don't want to F-up the only head lights i've got. lol
