my headlights have a faded tint to them.. its not that bad but is there something that i can to do to make them more clear? ive tried using windex but that doesnt work... i didnt want to try a more abrasive solution incase it made it worse.. anyone know wut works?

go to walmart by the fishing section and there is a headlight restoration kit u can buy.

toothpaste. rub it on and let it sit for a little bit. will help some. fixed superblue's right up.

I do this about every year just because of the amount of driving I do. Wet sand the clear plastic or your headlights up till 2000 grit. Then polish/buff with 3M rubbing and/or finishing cream. Make sure you can get the stuff first from a supplier, read the directions and go for it.

I only do this every year because I have never tried clear coating after polishing. It might last longer, but I don't mind the extra work.
