cam gears are to advance/retard cam timing. your head wont be shorter, they shave/deck/mill it it to reach a certain compression. definately take it to a proffessional and learn a lot more about this process

thanks, i am taking it to a pro, i just wondering what i should tell them to take off the head,

i know if you use a thicker head gasket you have to use cam gears to readjust the timing.

thanks

really
by uping the compression to 10.8:1 what do you think a focus will run with a chip, full exhaust, built manual tranny (with 4.06 gear set and phantom grip)

thanks

depends on what your looking for, they all have there pro's and cons

but i'd finish your intake off, then ditch the phantom grip...do a real lsd, not a handcuffs for the diff
