2007 ZX5, bought new in December 2006 for $16k. Still have it 130,000 miles later. Oh, and I was 28 when I bought it.

Got my 2010 Mk2 S for $1,000 back in 2015 with 48k miles. It was trashed inside and out, and needed a deep, deep cleaning. I was 17.

Now I'm 21, and it has 107,453 miles on it, and quite a few upgrades.

Bought a 2005 ZX5 SES in 2006 for 15k. Then bought my current 2013 Titanium Hatch in 2014 for 18.9k. Back then that was a good deal, but now since the DCT debacle you can get one for less than 15k.

I just recently purchased my 2016 Ford Focus SE hatch 1 month ago, it has 15k miles on it, one owner. It’s kona blue with black wheels, all leather interior with heated seats, mirror defrosters, and a heated steering wheel, also has interior lighting in cup holders, door handles, and footing, I paid 21k. I plan to make it like an ST but don’t know how to go about it.

I traded 1/2 pound of weed to it. I didn't expect much but its a great car and very cheap on gas. It quit on me but its worth fixing.

Bought my 07 zx5 ses a little over a year ago with 106000km or around 70k miles for $3450 I was 32 when I bought it. I just wanted something cheap that I can have some fun with probably got around two thousand Canadian spent on aftermarket parts and upgrades since I bought it.

1. Find a good used ST.
2. Have it thoroughly inspected by a competent mechanic.
3. If it has no major problems that cannot be repaired for what seems to you like a reasonable cost then buy it. Otherwise keep looking.
4. Sell your SE.

You paid 21k for a ‘16 Focus SE? Is that a typo? No offense, however even if it has the SE Sport Pkg., that’s a $11-13k car. If you like the ST, the slightly pre-owned 2018’s are currently selling for about $19-22k., depending on which state you live in.
