Blazebro........ I have a feeling we've met, on a forum at least.

If they sell the ST in the States for around $25000, I'll be on the first plane for my next one

It's roughly £1 = $2
I didnt realize it was back to a whole $2 per $1. My apologies. So essentially everything in the UK is worth twice as much here with the USD. So the $5/liter of gas over there is roughly $10/liter here. "Stings the nostrils"

Its slightly higer than 1 GBP=2 USD...its more like .49 GBP = 1 USD.

And again, gas prices are high in Europe for a large number of reasons. For starters, their refining processes result in much cleaner burning fuel (they don't use MTBE as an oxygen additive, for example.) They also maintain their roads much better than we do here, and they have a viable mass-transit system. Owning a car is more of a luxury than a necessity, akin to having a boat or airplane (etc.) here.

Hi Assassin. The ST will cost slightly less than in England as they pay less tax and as a whole demand lower prices, buT I still reckon it's would be $30k.

There's only one thing we can be sure of.......the fact that we'll NEVER KNOW[bootyshak

As a ford technician I would like to think that FoMoCo would bring their best products to the US as we started the company! Somehow though it seems that they just don't feel like were smart enough to know that the European focus is worlds better than ours here. Here is a question for every one, how come Mazda can sell the Mazda Speed3 which is based off the euro focus platform for 20-23K depending on options? The Motor is a boosted 2.3, a focus 2.3 with a few extras and it makes 263HP. Well, I would pay 25k for the ST.

For the same reason they stopped making all the other fast fords, it's come to the end of the line. They've probably got something else lined up to take it's place.

Rumours are that it'll come back when the Focus is face lifted in 2008/9. If Volvo's sold though it won't have the 5 pot.

MY2008 ST should be showing up mid 2008.

In my market the ST price if converted to Canadian $ would cost the same as the Mazdaspeed3 in Canada approximately CAD$30,000.00.

I know that prices in the U.S.A. are usually 20-30% lower in the U.S comparing to Canada.

I would like to get my hands on the limited edtion being offered in the UK

Yep $20,001 to $23,000 sounds right. It has the looks but performance wise it cant command a higher price. The orange color is fantastic.

It's a Ford (not that that's a bad thing, but it's no MINI or VW. That interior is great though. It would have to start around $20 though

since the current US spec ST is going for 17-20k i would have to 20-23k for this one
LOL, well i gotta say, your ST is nothing compared to the ST225 or xr5, that car has pwned mustangs (2005+ gt's) 350z's, beemers and all stuff it is fast... and very upgradable, since it already has a turbo.

i live in mexico and you can have it here, its about 26,000 US dollars and up (with no credit), so it can go even higher
