Just got the 04 SVT used. Looks like it has been lowered and has 215/40 17's.
I want to go back with 215/45's or 225/45's.

First Q - how much do you think it has been lowered?
Next - will the 215/45's or 225/45's fit?

Thanks!

I was going to say maybe pull a tire off and see if you can read anything off the springs or maybe what color they are and that will help you figure out the drop you have.

Could we get a bigger picture? I can't really tell how low that is from that.

I droped it roughly 2" and thoughs are 215/45/17's w/ H&R coilover your susp. should be fairly stiff. If you run the 45's I would be aware that they could (prolly wont) rub that mite be the reason he has the ones on he does. but I would recomend the 45's.

Thanks for the info so far!

I managed to get a quick look at the rear springs last nite and they appear to be the Eibach sportlines. I could not tell if it had the dampeners and such installed. It is very low and I love the way it handles, but the slightest deformation in the road is teeth rattling. I will be tracking the car if I keep it. I would put a set of 215-40's for the track, but I want some relief for DD. I want to at least go to 215-45's, hopefully 225-45's. Do they make wider fenders for the little beast?
