Just a question out of curiosity how hard is it to change a catalyc

converter?? I have a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 Zetec engine 2.0L if I am not

mistaking. I looked at the Catalyc converter and it looks that it has 3 bolts

on the top and 3 bolts way down where it curves..Let me know

i replaced the catalyc converter on my truck before i got my focus. now granted that i have never done it on my focus, it was a piece of cake when i did it to my truck

there are 3 bolts to the stock exhaust manifold, 2 around a center brace of the cat, and two on the flex and cat connection point. The hardest part is getting the EGR pipe off of the cat (best to go at it from the bottom). Be sure to disconnect the pigtails of the o2 sensors before removing those.
