or just pm b16sir1991 and buy an ST grille from him and it'll be painted when you get it, not chrome. It'll also have gray mesh but you can swap your black mesh into it if you want

I think I saw a post a while back talking about a heat gun....

Supposedly the "stick on" chrome peels off when a higher temp is reached.

^I thik I saw that too. If I am not wrong, you can probably heat it up and peal it off. You'd still want to sand and paint the plastic that is underneath though.

Here is a post... I thought there was a how to about this at one point? May be thinking of something else though. But yeah a heat gun should make the chrome flake off... just take your time.

the heat gun thing is a PITA! go with the super sanding or the ST grille

I would recomend doing a good amount of sanding with a fine grit paper, then applying a product such as duplicolor's adhesion promoter, then self etching primer, then you can paint the grill any color you like, I'm assuming you don't want to leave it just with the bare plastic.

OK PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!! ive tried for the last 2 hours to remove the Chrome from the Mesh on my 07 stock grille.(i wanna take the black from my stock gille and swap it with the grey on the ST) those tabs in bak are impossible to get off.
