alright, just bought a set of fogs. I wanna know first if I have the harness in my car already, so I just have to plug and play. If I dont have it, then how do I hook them up. I dont wanna pay to have it done unless I must.

Did you get OEM fog lights?
then you should have:
2x foglight housings
2x foglights
1x headlight+fogs switch

I don't know if you have splash guard or not, so if you have take that off.
1. remove foglight covers that you have in the bumper(black things without holes)
2. install foglight housings (black things with holes)
3. install foglights (I think they bolt in 2 places to the bumper
4. plug in connectors in foglamps, (provided you have them).
5. remove headlight switch
6. install new headlight+fogs switch
That's it.

nice. beef, rep for you dude. I havent had a chance to check yet, but I hope I have the wiring in there. It would make it soooo much easier.

Old, that was my concern, because if I have to run wires thru the firewall, then i think Id be better off to take it to a professional, cause I have no idea what Im doing.

Hope you got the OEM ones haha a focus was parked at work and it had the round/oval fogs in the stock fog place and it looked pretty bad. I prefer the OEM ones. /rant

you would have to run the wire through the fire wall. but if your car has the harness the switch should have a pull out on it..? wirings real easy and switches can be put anywhere you can get 2 wires to it.. power in, power out. i have my lights switches in my Cd holder in my 06. keeps it Clean!

why do you want to make a separate switch? this is plug and play
I didnt know it came with the factory style switch. I got the housings in today, and the foglights themselves and the switch are going in on saturday

ok, im a bit confused. I looked under my car, but I cant find any extra wiring. maybe im just looking in the wrong area. If someone knows they have the wiring, would they be ever so kind as to take a pic for me. its worth a rep point.

Do you have splash guard? plastic thing under the front bumper?
You need to remove it, then you can see inside the bumper.
