has anyone else noticed that when they go to use their horn in the really cold weather, they hi and lo tone work for a second and all of a sudden the low tone stops and only the high tone works??

haha yeah! I have noticed that with the stock horns.

I have a similar problem. I have noticed that when it is cold outside, my horn is MUCH higher pitch than usual. I am almost to the point where I am going to buy a new horn. My motorcycle horn sounds better than my car horn right now.

lol yeah, you know of all people, my Mom made fun of it. She basically said her mini van is better because the horn sounds better...EMBARRASSING

I'm glad I found this thread! I thought my hearing was going or something....

Can I install another horn or is there a fix? My horn gets so quiet and strange sounding someone in traffic with a radio on would never hear it.

ya know, having a "train" horn in a focus doesn't sound to bad at all!
