I recently picked up the Hoen H10's (which I was told is the same as the 9145's). However, I am unable to insert the H10's. It seems the H10's prongs are spread apart wider than the 9145. Also the 9145 rely on a small circularish track located at the base of the bulb's glass to twist it securely into place. The H10's do not seem to have this, thus there is no way to snug it into the socket. However, I have heard people with SVT's rave about these bulbs. Do the SVT's and ZX5's actually use different bulbs?

Lastly, assuming I can not get my Hoen's to work, are there any HID looking fog bulbs people would recomend? I am trying to get as close to 4200 K light as possible. Thanks!

fog lights on any focus (except for maybe the SVT. not too sure there) use the 800 series bulbs. there are various types of 800 bulbs, but the main difference between most is that some have the harness parallel to the bulb while other have the harness perpendicular to the bulb (harness will plug in from the bottom). either type will fit. i've used both on my car.

as far as brand goes to get that HID look....dunno. i have StreetGlow headlights (extremely ricey blue, but i like it), and i cannot find fogs to match. all the fogs i find that claim they're blue just come out really bright white (matched my old silverstars perfectly, though).

Don't get the 800 series bulb from Eurolite/Tousan.
They claim that they are whiter and brighter.
They suck balls and are not any brighter than stock.
More yellow than white light.
