Got an emission test this morning and this afternoon I hear a quite loud hissing (my wife noticed it too)at the back of the engine near firewall. The testing shop says they didn't do it but they did give me a business card to a repair shop to go to make it pass(it failed today). How can I find a vacuum leak? Thanks Andrew

You're lucky- you have a hiss to guide you. Just feel around back there, wiggling any hoses you find- listen for the sound to change.

i had this same one..!

wait for the engine to cool,,, then reach right under the intake / fuel bar,, their is a big vacume hose that gets real "mushy" for lack of a better word,, it slips off even when car is reved hard,,
I had to tie wrap mine on,,
I almost got charged for a mass air sensor the first time it happened.....

let me know if this hepls you....
