I just replaced the evaporator in my 2012 Ford Focus. Once I had everything back together and was plugging in the final wires I noticed that there was an extra cable behind the climate control panel. Here is a generic pciture of the panel i found online.

Here are the cables I had left. One plugged into the defrost and I could not fin anything to plug the other one into.

Could this cable be part of the problem that causes the hill assist error to come on? Everything else seems fine aside from the hill assist light and an air bag light.

Does anyone know what this plug may go into?

I took my car and got it scanned. It came back with an error code U0428 ABS. Sounds like i need to check connections behind steering wheel from what i have read.
