I thought I read somewhere, theres a ground wire connected close to the release. If you disconnect It, It would turn that off. But Im not 100% positive on It.

There are very detailed instructions in your owner's manual which tells you how to turn it off. At least there are for my 2011.

Turn ignition on, plug and unplug seat belt like 9 times, then one time then idk something like that.

Its in your owners manual. Look in the seatbelt section. There will be a billion warnings about not doing it, then it tells you how to turn them off each side, I only did the drivers side.

on a positive note.... i did a nasty 2nd gear chirp on friday... didnt want to but i was stopped on the highway entering an exit lane and i decided to get back on the highway so i just... punched.. no speed shifting. it kinda sounded like this chirp..
