I need help guys, I started having a noise in my transmission, took it to the shop and they found the flywheel was screwed up, it looked like if it was loose, the clutch was ok, so I decided to buy an aftermarket flywheel (fidanza), but my surprise was that the clutch didn't fit the flywheel so I'm going to have to buy a new clutch, I went to autozone and they told me there are two diferen sizes of clutch, 9" and 8 5/8", and they are special order, so any of you guys know which size I need for the flywheel I bought?

good question... i really dont know. I just put a fidenza flywheel and spec stage 3 in my car about 3 weeks ago and they never asked me. If i were to guess the differances in sizes is the diffrence between the regular focus's having the 5 speed mtx trans and our svt's having the 6 speed getreg. Hope someone can help you out more than i but i would check to make sure its for the 6 speed getreg.
