Hello, so maybe this will help. I have been on ED's case to get this bumper back when the casting was for sale. At first it was only offered for the Gen 1 Focus, then not to long ago they finally made it for the 05 and up. In the beginning there were some fitting issues (understatement of the year). As of late there has been postings that the bumper is about 5 inches to wide on each side. I am here to tell you the truth.
Its to damn wide and just does not fit like any other fiberglass kit........
I have given ED the benefit of the doubt the entire time. As I have purchased my entire kit that's for sale now by ED (I swapped out the rear for the poison because the other one is more rice than japan is). The side skirts fit with some elbow grease and a little work. the rear bumper fit with again a little work and some patients. HOWEVER the front is no where near close to fitting. The plain fact of the matter is it is just to damn wide. I say about 3 inches out of the middle of the bumper and you should be close to fitting correctly.
Problem is that the mold used is just out of wack and well, who cares.. At least that's the "feeling" that we get from ED since it has yet to take the mold off-line and fix it...
My body guy has had my car for a month now. upon inspection we see that the gel coating is well not really there at all, the primer they use is substandard and there are massive amount of pits. I can over look most the pits, and the primer, but the gel coat I can not. I also cant overlook the incorrect fit issue. The shop has told me they will no longer work on ED parts if they come in... Ouch.. and he doesn't want me to post pictures really because hes ashamed on how its turned out so far... Well I have given him the go ahead and cut the bumper in half and work from the outside in. Below are photos.
Here you can see the wings and the lower air dam vertical.

I like big butts and I can not lie....
Take note that the sides can not be pushed in any further or there will be considerable damage done. The reason they are that close is because we bolted the tops in and there is still that much flare.
So if you get this kit, which I still say any one should get.. Be ready to give it to the body shop and warn them that the bumper is vastly off and may need to be cut in half to get it close.. AND be ready to not get your vehicle back for some time.... in my case over a month of shop time. (other cars and what not, typical shop BS you deal with) My cost to put on all for body parts and the hood and mod the hood is 2,000 out the door. My body guy is going to eat those words....
Other than that it looks awesome!!!!
ED just please fix the issue of it being obviously way to wide. Thank you ....
