ok so i was on my way home from KC(about an hour and a half drive) and when i got off the interstate, slowed down and came to a stop, it sounds like my front right brake is grinding. first i checked to see if my wheel was loose- negative; second i pumped my brakes to see if they were constantly depressed or if they were working properly - all checked fine. ARGH!! i can't figure this one out. any help or suggestions?

take the wheel off and see how much pad you have left on your brakes.. also feel the rotor... does it feel worn unevenly?

yeah it's worn evenly... i think. i just changed the pads and rotors in the spring so they should still be in good condition

could be some dirt caught up in the rotor.

i'll check that and do an all out cleaning job

another thing is that it only happens when i am going straight or anything to the right, if that is any help for you that are more technically inclined than i.

my supervisor suggested this morning that it could be the bearings. would this be a place to check as well?
