I have a 2001 ford focus zx3. When I got it, it had an aftermarket radio w/ the double din adapter, but the radio was a p.o.s. so I decided to find a stock radio to put into it. I found a stock radio from another 01 zx3 on craigslist and bought it for $20. Come to find out, my car didn't have premium sound, and the car the new radio came from did! What do I gotta do to make it fit? No one has the right adapter for it, and I've been told I have to buy an amp to make it work! the radio I bought says "blaupunkt" on it, if that helps at all.

Can you post a picture of it? Is it a single CD MP3 unit?

It is a double din cd/mp3 unit manufatured by Blaupunkt and it says "ford" on it. guy i bought it from says it came stock on his focus- assuming he had premium sound.
