So i recently purchased 8000k HIDs for my 2012 ford focus hatchback 2.0 they power up just fine no problems when the ignition is in on position, but whe i start it they have no power from my reaserch it is the auto lights? saying they only get 7volts after start up instead of 12v any sugestions of getting pass this?

Do you get a dipped beam bulb error?

Are you running the hids on a relay? If not then the ballasts are sucking too much power from the car's electrical system when the engine is running. I recommend going to theretrofitsource.com and getting an "HD Relay". They seem very high quality (no problems with mine at all). Just be sure to mount the relay(s) properly (wires facing down). You need relays and at least one resistor for the driver side
