this is the second time it has happened within a month, but the engine shuts off completely, tach at 0rpms. i have no idea why or how, i do not hit the keys so it cant be that... someone have an idea? maybe i need to plug it into an OBD?

do you have a factory or aftermarket alarm on the car or maybe a remote starter?
