Hi, I never really noticed or bothered but my friend was in my car and was saying my headlights need to be adjusted. He said they should even out into a straight line infront of your car, instead of looking like a mountain range. I have hella projectors, does anyone know how to adjust them?

Take the light cover off and you'll see 2 screws beside the actual lights. One adjusts height and one adjusts toward the left or right.

I can't remember which one does which, but it's not that hard to figure out.

Speaking of which, I do need to readjust my driver side light...

Do you mean these hella lamps as fitted to one of my previous focus'?

Whip off the outer covers, and remove the lights (makes access much easier) Locate the screw on the inside of the cluster that grips the back end ofthe projector lamp) Remove the screw, then twist the entire lamp 180 degrees in the housing, the light beam will now spike the other way.

Is it legal to have the lamps "level" and not spike? Here in the UK, the lamps have to spike to the left, to illuminate the kirbside.

Oh, so they are not suppose to be flat like my friend described, they suppose to look like that? Ok then maybe I don't have to fix them an at all. Any reason why they are designed to be like that?

^^They are second grade. Mercedes uses a different hella projector and its far better then the ones used in them.

Also the MACH's use a VERY similar projector and cut off. Sorry in all the stuff i have worked with and used. They are second grade.

And there is NO such thing as HID and non HID. A TRUE one like seen in BMW will be sharp, crsip, and Z shapped.

A Halogen per say projector is just a tad fuzzy and can eaily be made to have a sharper cutoff.
