Noticed on my car tonight my Heater fan doesn't work on 4, the highest setting.

Also, when the fan is in the 'Off' position it still 'runs'. If I manually turn the knob farther left (more off if that makes sense) it will stop.

I'm guessing they are related issues? Hopefully it's a cheap fix - I'm going to sell the car. I don't want to put a lot of money in it but do want it to work for the new buyer.

Any info is much appreciated. Thanks!

My guess is bad panel....fan speed switch sounds to be bad

Ok, thanks Pete. I'm going to price one while I'm at the Ford dealer today... I'll also see if they can give me a quick, no cost diagnosis. Not likely I know. LOL
