Hey guys, I thought it would be a good idea since one of my coolant hoses is very close to my header to wrap it in that self adhesive 2000 degree wrap. First off, do you think I would even need it cause the header itself is wrapped, and does this tube expand under pressure which would make what I did retarded ? Thanks for the help. its the tube thats wrapped on the left.

hard to tell but looks like you wrapped a rubber coolant hose. which will expand a bit.

whats the red line? a ground?
did you move the ps line? again hard to tell.
why is your dipstick tube all demented?

have a higher res picture and a few more angles?

Are you asking if you should wrap the coolant line in header wrap? I would say no. They have special reflective high temp "sleeving" you can get wich is designed to reflect heat, and not insulate heat in, like header wrap is designed to do.

Do a google for "high temperature automotive reflective sleeving"...
