Any aftermarket bulb that is "Xenon" based rated for a simulated 5000k-6000k and most likely will have a higer wattage like 80/100 as opposed to a stock wattage.

Can we run the 80/100 hella off road lights safely on our stock fuses and wiring harness? From what I found plugging the wattages into watts law the amp draw donesnt exceed the stock fuse rating.

If you plug it into the stock stuff. good luck. Have never seen it come out well. It doesnt't take alot of work to swap the stuff and i would if you plan on doing this.

there is a difference between wanting to and doing it...im 33, my days of diving into things half-cocked are long gone. This is why I'm asking questions.

^ this is the bulb connector that came out of my fofo. the black wire next to it is 16 gauge. the recommended wire gauge for 80 - 100w is 12 - 14 gauge. stock looks to be 20 or 22 gauge if you ask me + the wire is of poor quality.

wow that is some cheesy wiring...I understand why there are so many problems upgrading to higher wattage bulbs now. What seems to fail first the fuse block or the light housing?

I wasn't saying anything bad.

I am 20 and have lit more things in a car on fire then i should have from 16-17 lol.

I would say a much larger wire will be needed. I know in my 02 it's like 22 or something dumb. Way too small i would find some really nice 14 guage we used it on a cobalt we did.

I have always seen the harness go first wires get hot boom melts instantly pretty much.

thanks for everyone's input but in all reality, if there is more work than just changing the bulbs it really isnt worth it for me.
