ISSUE:
Some 2005 Focus 2.0L automatic transmission equipped vehicles may experience longer than expected cranking times followed by poor, rough run-up during a start procedure. If this condition only occurs intermittently, reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM).
ACTION:
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B42.8 and higher or B43.1 and higher.
WARRANTY STATUS:
Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage
Just found this one today, but it was released on April 20th/2006. Maybe sticky this one too, because it seems like some ATX's have been curious in regards to the MTX-75 bulletin of the same concern.
