finally got around to taking pics...


here was my first project. This was the second box i built for the stock sub (the first is off to the left) to try and improve the sound...it definitely made a difference, but it still just didn't bump quite as hard as i wanted it to







so i decided just to go big. I picked up the subs, box, amp, and wiring kit for $500 from a trustworthy friend. I also decided to spend nothing on installation and do it myself. First time ever with no previous experience and I succeeded, woo!

2 JL Audio W1V2's
Crossfire XP4802 dual channel amp
Alpine CDA-9884 receiver

lets just say its LOOOUD (plus they match the car) [grinking]

Nice setup dude! Just one questions...Why did you off center the subs???
well when my friend got it installed at a local car audio shop they just installed them like that so i just didn't bother with adjusting them

nice set up man, looks like a good system.

if you got the time please adjust the subs, just doesnt look right

Yeah they definitely aren't congruent to one another, but oh well I guess...maybe I'll adjust it later.

I also have seen other pics of tilted JL's on the net so I guess it's not just these guys
