As I mentioned before, my body side moldings were chipping paint off like nobody's business. I bought the car pre-owned so I have no clue who or how it was done before.

Before:

After I got a $200 quote from Maaco, I decided to wait & look elsewhere.. my dad remembered a pal of his who owned an auto body repair shop. Who verbally quoted me at $50 for labor only..

After:

Total cost? $75 to repaint the driver side moldings and retape the passenger side moldings as they were coming off as well. I'm pretty happy to not have paid $200 for the whole thing.

My next chores for my Focus in the near future is to tint the windows, and get an interior shampooing. [thumb]
