I go to fiberglassforums.com a lot and I always see guys ripping out their dash and rebuilding it completely. Any body here have anything like that? If you've got a completely custom fabricated dash post it here today! Believe in your dreams!

I've never seen a "complete" custom Focus dash, although I've seen partials:

(thats in a car called "General Shaver" by the way)...

A good friend of mine just put together a complete custom fiberglass interior in his Civic, he pretty much ripped apart the stock dash, mounted where he wanted everything, and fiberglassed everything, including the floorboards...here's a few pics, keep in mind it's a 100% trailored SHOW CAR....

That Civic's interior seems more like a jacuzzi than an interior...does it at least have a few dozen waterjets to relax me on my drive to work?

wow, that civic is absolutely repulsive on the exterior. way too many splitters, and WTF is up with those mirrors?!

i think nobodys posting anything up like that cause we are not rice. the focus dosnt show up people in drag strips like other hondas do. the focus shows what it was made for in autox and rally. me , i want my car to be all go not show and my car is not a trailer qween.
yea... well, it's not always rice. There's certainly more than enough room in the focus for some creative improvement and customization. That's what I plan to do... just saying.

im sorry if you felt that i was being a a-s, its not that way . i just think that our cars should be set up for somthing more in it own catagory as stated above. i had a 02 focus befor my 07 and a started to do the all show and no go thing and i got so many negative comments back from people that own hondas and others . ive evern had a honda emblem keyed into the hood of the 02 that i was doing this to. this is the reason why i stay away from all the blig bling type of crap. its your car and you are free to express who you are in it. just give ya a heads up and make sure you get a alarm system, cause you will be the person that is going to stick out like a sore thumb.

The Civic I posted is a complete show vehicle. Show, AutoX, Drag, Drift, you build your car as a personal expression to what you'd want to do with your vehicle. Show guys hate people who build cars and don't care about the exterior being in primer, All Drift, AutoX, Drag guys hate Civic's like I posted. It's all personal to what you'd like to do with your car, but it doesn't mean you dont have to have a blantant disrespect for another's vehicle, "to each his own" comes to mind....

And I've seen a few amazing Foci with comple custom interiors, take the Sony Xplod focus that was redone at Nopi last year....

Amazing Show vehicle, very functional, and a Focus....looks even better in person! [thumb]

ok i don't think you can quote more than one person so i'll just talk. bd, no offense taken man. i feel like garbage today so i'm sorry. And slvr, dude, that is exactly what i was looking for! That is amazing. That's the type of stuff i want to do only maybe with a little less show and a little more function. I am a form/function guy. Don't get me wrong, i like art too, but even when something is just art it still has a function, even if it's just to get an emotional response. Heck, look at the Veyron, that's art, and on more than one level! I used to be an industrial design major and now i'm trying engineering instead. To make a car with a custom interior that not only looks amazing but also can do some pretty trick stuff would be awesome. I think that's why i liked iron man so much, lol. Not only does it look good, it works. That movie is an engineers wet dream!
