3rd if you still have the stock tune because youll hit the govenor in 4th, or 4th because its closest to 1:1

Just do 3rd gear.

I believe that the proper way to decide the gear for the pull is to select the gear that makes your final drive ratio 4.80:1.

Just take your 3rd gear ratio multiplied by your differential ratio, then do the same with 4th gear, see what you get.

If you have 3.82:1 differential and 3rd gear ratio is 1.448, your final would be 5.31
If you have 3.82:1 differential and 4th gear ratio is 1.028, your final would be 3.93

I do all dynos in 3rd gear for the main reason that this doesnt stress the engine as much , heat it up as much and abuse it as much

4th gear will show slightly more HP/TQ and if turbocharged spool up the turbo slightly quicker because 4th has more load then 3rd does
