Is there a fuse in the panel behind the glove box that swiches with the key? It seems like the whole panel turns on with the door switch. I can only meter it with the door open, but this doesn't help.

Thanks.

I've found many spare fuses on the panel in the trunk that turn on and off with the key.
Have my GPS wired to one of them. Ran a wire all the way to the front from there.
Never tried to meter the fuse panel under the glovebox.

As far as I know, no. The panel doesn't just switch on with the door switch, it's meant to switch on when the car is in use. It prepares the car for being started.

Then again, many of those slots are also "always on" fuses.

I read a few posts here that say that those fuses kick off after 30 minutes. This does not happen to the fuse for the sunroof (i forget the number). I did a pretty slick install of the radar detector mute switch into the dash, and i guess it would be too much to ask for close switchable power. Might try the rear panel. Thanks.
