Since I've owned this car, I've had this problem with the windshield wipers. At highway speeds, the intermittent wipers are pretty much useless because of this:


It gets worse the faster I go, so at 75mph they go almost all the way back up.

Is anyone else having this problem??

I have the same problem. I have not fixed mine yet, but maybe this weekend. This might be the issue. Anyone, feel free to correct me if I am wrong with the diagnoses

do they go back down when you slow down, with out activating the wiper?

the relay is a very common problem with the focus, kal-el has the right thread to fix the problem and chances are thats all it is

Sorry for the slow reply.
Yes, at lower speeds they operate normally, but at higher speeds they are just about useless. Thank God for that Rain-X wiper fluid!
