I used ScanXL Pro to log my stft and ltft with my home made ram air. At one piont on interstate cruising my stft was -12% and my ltft was -12% also. My MAF was showing for 4lb/min. I logged it without the ram air and fuel trims were more in check. Under similar conditions stft was 0% and ltft 1% but my MAF was showing 2lb/min. Throttle position was similar on both points in both logs. One was 36% the other 37%, and load percentage was similar as well. So now I figure I need a tune cause the ram air is making the car run rich and the ecu is trying to pull fuel from what I can tell. If anyone's got opinions on this I would love to hear them. Has anyone else made a ram air and needed to tune the ecu to accomodate it? Also if anyone needs more info I logged both ways for well over an hour, interstate cruising and around town. Thanks for any opinions and insights.

Upload the logs please. I'll dig through them and post back with what I find ... tonight yet depending on how long it takes me.

FWIW, I'm curious on if the peak MAF readings change vs rpm/load. If the ram air works you should see a % gain across the board at speed.

That is the config I use for ScanXL. The data maps are configured to my loads, rpm, MTF, etc. You'll have to config them differently, the MTF for sure.

Here is the #'s you should use for the SVT MAF:

If you don't have the Ford enhancement I might be able to swing something. PM me.

These are both the files. The first one is with the ram air, bogging2 is without it. http://www.filedropper.com/focusbogging and http://www.filedropper.com/focusbogging2 When I get time, I'm gonna use your config file you posted. I sure do appreciate your help with this. I'd like one day to get into tuning but right now I'm just barely scratching the surface of it all. Oh and I do have the extended software for Ford and GM. I wished ScanXL had bi directional support for the ABS systems so I could bleed the HCU, lol. Thanks again, Iminhell. Tom, I figured I would need a tune only problem is money. Can't really afford one right now, lol. But thanks for the heads up.
