I am working on my buddys 01 Ford Focus 2.0 DOHC. It needed a fuel pump so we installed the fuel pump, and hooked everything up right, can hear the pump running, but the car still will not start. unhooked the lines at the filter, and its getting fuel thorugh the filter, so thats not the problem now. So I unhooked the line where it hooks to the injector rail and there is no fuel there. So if the pump is pumping it, the filter is not clogged, what else could it be. We hit the reset button on the inside passenger kick panel but thats not helping us. Any ideas on where to go from here? Thanks for any help

That's odd. Guess there has to be an obstruction in the line or a pinched line.

When you pulled from the fuel filter how far did fuel shoot out?
Should have gone quite a ways if the pump was making good pressure.
