Get under the car on the passenger side just in front of the rear wheel, look in the gap between the fuel tank and the floorpan for the footwell. It's up high, you gotta have a 10mm socket to pull down the bracket its in, after that just unhook the short plastic line, you push the fitting in towards the filter then push the button on it and it comes back out with the button pushed. You'll see. There's a short section that goes from the hardline to one end of the filter, its easiest if you just take that piece out first, then unbolt it then undo the same kinda fitting off the other end. Dont' get under it cuz you'll lose a little fuel out of the line, no biggee it won't keep running out. Then put the new filter in just like the old one came out. Once you do it once its pretty easy. Recommended every 30k miles. good luck

Rubbish , I own a 2002 ghia , the fuel filter is on the drivers side, the worst problem is getting at the bracket that holds it in , 8mm socket required here. Have fun

Difference between RHD and LHD cars. Since you're in AUS, it would be driver side.

On right side of car as sitting in it. Just in front of tank inside the outrigger rail. Long 1/4" extention with rachet and 8 mm. and a screwdriver to pry loose clips but NOT remove them fully and filter changed in under 5 minutes. Nowadays if filter is newish and not done yet I tend to simply clean the old one and throw it right back on car. No problems now doing it for years.
