What if I were to do the snorkel delete, remove the top of the airbox, add a drop in K&N filter and bought "Heat Sheets" to set up a wall in between the engine and filter kind of like FSWERKS does, would this be logical? or should I just go ahead and get the FSWERKS CAI or K&N CAI. I plan on getting a tune so yes I am looking for power gains not looking just to make my car sound deeper.

Any opinions?

It all depends on your budget. You will get a couple more hp with a full intake but a drop in/snorkel delete is way cheaper. I wouldn't take the lid off though. The factory set minus the snorkel is a cold air set up. So just add a high flow filter.
