So I just ordered my BAT 300mm front kit, and I'm thinking it might be a good idea to just buy some new front spindles from Focus Central ($39 each) and modify those, for two reasons; 1) easier to do the modifications required to mount the kit if the spindle is off the car, and 2) If I screw up on something I'm not going to be without a car until I can get new spindles.

So that said, how hard is it to remove and replace the front spindles? Do you have to disconnect the half-shafts/CVJs or is it a simple bolt off/bolt on procedure?

Simple bolt on bolt off, not hard at all. Just remember, do not hit the steering arm directly to knock it loose. Tap the cast spindle near it instead and it will break loose.. You hafta hit it pretty hard a few times

Is there anything other than the brakes, wheels and driveshafts attached to it? Front suspension, bearings, etc?

I guess I ought to go out and buy the Haynes manual, they'd probably have directions...
