I removed the heater fan and found it was seized due to rust. The housing was wet inside. I must have a leak & I suspect the windshield...SO...can someone tell me if there's a path for water to get into the blower housing from a leaky windshield? If not then I have 2 problems to fix!

I would say where the cabin filter is. Water will seep past the weatherstrip and into the egg crate/filter. There is a small lip to deflect water, but obviously it's too low. It's located right over the fan blower motor. I've found water on my passenger side before. Luckily it missed the blower. I ended up running a bead of silicone under the weatherstrip. It hasn't leak since and that was about three years ago.
Here's how to change one so you have an idea where it is. I don't use one myself.
