Just wondering if anyone has used the Ford touch up paint. For those that have, how difficult was it to apply and how good does it look? I've looked at the Dr colorchip but it is a little pricey.

Easy to apply. Looks good on my car. The paint matched very well which I was afraid of considering I have a metallic paint on mine.

I have the blue metallic and I can't find a match from other suppliers. Probably have to go with Ford

Mine is Vista Blue Metallic. The Ford stuff matched very well. []

I've never used clearcoat with touch-up paint. It seems to hold pretty well.

The ford touch up paint matches pretty well but the applicator it comes with sucks. I would recommend getting a fine tip paintbrush to fix small nicks and dings.

I washed the Focus this morning. I noticed a chip on the hood, I am going to touch it up this weekend. It's small so it should not show too much. I had to get my paint from the dealer.
