just wondering how much of a pain it is to move motor mounts from teh SPI locations to fit a 2.3 duratec?

The lower mount and the drivers side mount are the same on both engines.
The passenger side mount has a black support thing it mounts to.
You just need the new passenger mount along with that black part.
It should bolt right up with no problem.

so more or less just take the motor mounts off the duratec i'm getting (hopefully) and reuse them in the same spot.. easy enough.

pretty much just make sure the mounts are from a duratec. The mounting points are the same throughout all the foci years. Its the mount pieces that bolt onto the car and motor the determine what motor is in it. Technicaly you could put what ever motor you wanted in it has long has it can fit in the engine compartment and mounts are made to bolt up to the chassis.

it will be the mounts that were put in by ford for that motor/that car.. i'm pulling the motor from a wrecked car
