I'm not sure that you'll be able to hit 155 with just a thousand watts per... but wont know till you build it!

If you want some 15"s that will handle power for competitions or even 18's for that matter.. i would suggest something found here: http://www.dcsoundlab.com/home.html

Here's proof that they get LOUD.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8j10sqfZB4 .... This is a vid of my friends 01 Neon right after installing 2 DC Audio Level 5 18's Walled pushing a total of about 3500 watts... Hitting about 154db with broken windshield :) Needless to say, we had to install a brace in the roof to stop the windshield from breaking... Again.. haha

I can tell you right now it takes a HELL of a lot more power than that to pull high 150s or low 160s.....and tuning to 35hz is wayyyy too low of a tuning frequency to pull those kind of numbers.

35hz is pretty low, but hitting 150db with that tuning isn't impossible... You will need more power though. If the wall is tuned at 35hz, you'll have a Low peak frequency, but you'll just have to tune and test to find out what frequency you run the loudest at. I'm Currently Running 1 18" sub in a 3.7cu ported box tuned at 36hz pushing around 1600w. Highest i've hit was a 146.5db, Averaging around 143.3db on a 1min run(I need a second battery hooked up to hold it at 146)

not saying its not possible....but using the equipment he is talking about there is no way he could hit those kind of numbers...he would need a TON of power...
I 100% agree with you... [cheers]

While on the topic though, I thought about walling mine a few times, I just cant afford to lose the back seat just yet... and i dont want to slow the car down anymore than i have to.. I do like my music loud though, tough decision

lol toally not...i can push a 43.2 with a thousand watts in a box tuned at 42 hertz wiht a treo ssx 18 in a box with 6 cubes...i have a kinetic 3200 and a kinetic 2400 so i have the power..all i need it another amp basically...hank can push a 147.3 with the treo ssi in a box with 3000 watts now... so now its deff not impossible...cooper is tuned at 35 and is doing a 50 to captain america ..in a box.

A wall with 2000w would pretty much be a waste of time. If you're going to do a wall, at least make it worth the effort and put in some big subs like AQ HDC3s, Fi BTLs or Ascendant Audio Mayhems, and gobs of power. I would personally recommend Audioque amps and subs... great bang for the buck. A pair of HDC3s and 2 2200Ds or 3500Ds might get you well into the 50s.
