I just bought a 2001 Focus from family. What could be the problem?? have rebuilt tranny, 2 valve bodies, 2 sets of tranny solenoids, 2 sets solenoid wiring harnesses. Car is VERY sluggish from a stop but will go slowly and build up speed- once hot kluncks in and out of gears but when stopping it downshifts perfectly? any ideas?? have spent a lot of money on it already and am ready to blow it up.
